    I have nothing bad to say about this eraser. It erases very cleanly and lasts a long time. Compared to the typical pink erasers, the Pentel white erasers also hold up well over time. I have a pink eraser from a couple of years ago, and now it's almost impossible to use because the outside has gotten all hard and stiff. It's almost like it's petrified now. On the other hand, I recently found a large box of these Pentel erasers and even one that I already opened a long time ago, and it's still as smooth and effective as the day I took the cellophane off. Definitely a must have for anyone who uses pencils!!

    These are the only type of pencil-end erasers to use.
    About 25 years ago pencil-end erasers went to hell. While they erased well enough, the quality of all brands I bought were too cheap to stay on the pencil. Invariably after two or three erasures, they'd tear off. I took to tightly wrapping the ends in twist-ties or rubber bands twisted around and around. This of course looked crappy and reminded me of the 1950s when in elementary school I made plenty of errors and pencil-end erasers always behaved. Carrying around an additional art-gum eraser could have worked if I was an artist or made many errors to erase.
    Those lines of rant demonstrate my depth of frustrations.
    Now I can enjoy these Pentel Polymers. They fit snugly, erase very cleanly, leave hardly any lint, what more can I ask?
