USDA Organic is protected by law, inspected by experts, traced from farm to store, and shaped by public input. USDA develops and enforces the organic standards, which require products to be produced using farming practices that maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, conserve biodiversity, and avoid genetic engineering, among other factors. Crops can be certified organic if they’re grown without prohibited substances such as most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Livestock are raised on pasture and treated humanely without growth hormones or antibiotics. Organic products do not contain GMOs or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Products that contain a minimum of 95 percent organic ingredients and use the USDA Organic seal are part of Climate Pledge Friendly.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The product photo contains an image saying “grown in USA” on the packaging. The package I received clearly indicates this garlic was grown in Argentina. Nothing against those wonderful people, but I strive to get all of my produce from as nearby as possible, or at least from within the USA, to reduce my carbon footprint and ensure fresher produce. This garlic STANK and not in that wonderful garlic way. Although a month before its listed expiration, it smelled rotten. I’ve never purchased pre-peeled garlic before and thought perhaps that was normal, so reluctantly tried it in a dish. That was a mistake, as was this purchase.I have come to learn the horrors of the fresh and peeled garlic industry in the documentary “Rotten” and it’s important for me to know where my food, including garlic, comes from.
This makes so much easier for me to cook from scratch. I am using a lot more garlic since stumbling on this. It makes my dishes tastier and healthier. I am beyond grateful A++++
If you use a lot of garlic quickly, definitely get this. When I make roasted garlic olive oil, i buy this. If you're not going to use it up relatively quickly, don't buy. The first time I purchased I didn't use it all and it was moldy within 2 weeks.
Ass soon as you receive this item, use it or it will go bad. Slice it. Place it in a glass container with olive oil or put it in a ziplock bag and place in your freezer.
Stays fresh in fridge All sizes so can slice or use smaller whole in sauces, on pizza & everything you want I use a lot in soups and stews Quick sauce in pan to caramelize for pizza, salads, added to soups or top veggies
